Secret Cine Club Insert // Audio

This is an arts insert I made for Radio Kerry about the Kerry Film Festivals Secret Cine Club.  I went along to the event and spoke to the organizer and some of the viewers about the black and white Polish film Ida. It was a great night and I would highly recommend it. 

Ghosts in Ireland: Documentary // Audio

Ghosts in Ireland is a documentary I produced and edited for a radio production module. It was a project that was supposed to be completed in three months giving us time for pre-production, research and production. We lined up interviews with owners of hunted buildings around Ireland but unfortunately they all fell through. We only began recording after Halloween so all of the hunted mansions and buildings in Ireland had shut down by the time we began recording. For some reason ghosts take a break for Christmas. 

Mock McDonalds Advert // Audio

This is a 30 second mock advert I had to make for a radio module in college. My original idea for this advert was much more straight forward but I decided to try something out of the box. I got a few friends to do the voices and I recorded and edited it. 

Mom Cooking // Photos

My mom was making samosa’s this weekend so I decided to grab a few photos. Its nice to see the process from beginning to end. I used my Canon 700d and 50mm lens to add a bit of depth and increase the bokeh. What I was amazed at the most was the colours in the food. The vivid reds and deep greens make the pictures very visually interesting and add great contrast.

sipITT Triathlon // Promo

This is a short promotional video I made for a health initiative in the Institute of Technology Tralee. The sipITT programme organised a triathlon to promote exercise and healthy living with in the college. It was a great event and the turnout was amazing. I shot and edited this with a friend. It was hard getting all aspects of the event in but we got what we needed in the end.

TraleeToday.ie // Crossbar Challenge

While working for TraleeToday.ie last summer I filmed what was supposed to be a weekly crossbar challenge. They were videos that pit the members of a local sports team against each other in an effort to find out who the best team was while also having some fun.
